BON redesign hit the shelves

September 16, 2008 by Rasmus, tagged bon, identity, magazine and redesign

But do we really need BON magazine? I was a dedicated subscriber from day one, until suddenly BON started acting as they were God of fashion – “this skirt is exactly like Someob Scurething only me and one other person in the world has seen”. This over-saturated elitism the magazine suddenly expressed turned me off.

Today they released the first issue dressed in the new design. I like the logo and especially it’s colors.

Fred Wilsons Web 2.0 NYC Slides

First slide

Fred Wilson is working on his Web 2.0 NYC presentation together with graphic designer Jeremy Bogdan. I think these slides provide an excellent example of how presentations could be designed, rather than constrained by the usual headline-divider-body-bullets-footer kinda template most people use.

The slides are designed to be “background music” for the talk I am giving. If you don’t see something you think is important in the presentation, there’s a good chance it’s in my talk but just didn’t make it onto the slides.

Spray.se redesign

August 14, 2006 by Rasmus, tagged identity, redesign, spray and work

I’ve been working on this new design for Spray the last couple of months, together with Oliver Wagner, Nicklas Söderlind, Tobias Svensson and alot of other really good people.

We have also created a new server platform, based on AbstractBase – a PHP runtime library, as well as apache 2.0 instead of 1.3, which the old servers was running.
